DayGlo’s NX-C pigments are a solid solution of fluorescent dyes in a thermoplastic polyamide resin. These high-strength colorants have been formulated specifically for polyethylene blow molded containers and thin film applications, delivering intense color when used in toys, signs and shopping bags.
NX-C’s coarse particle size makes for high pigment loading and low-blow pin plate-out. To completely melt and evenly distribute the pigment when incorporated into plastic resins, processing temperature must reach 370°F (190°C).
