With Starfire® HB digital ink bases (SFHB), you can meet your legal obligations without ever compromising on vibrancy of color. Compliant with US and EU regulations, SFHB is a daylight and UV responsive fluorescent ink base, perfect for creating clean, bright shades with high color strength.

A thermoplastic sulphonamide-melamine-paraformaldehyde carrier that’s dispersed in an alkyd resin, SFHB is recommended for oxidation or heat-set drying ink formulations. It should be converted into finished offset ink by adding 20% - 30% printing vehicles, driers, and additives as desired.

Available in nine fluorescent colors, SFHB is also compatible with conventional inks, allowing for new, ever bolder shades for an expanded color palette.
