Radiant RPCF

We create color that’s as safe as it can possibly be, and that’s especially important in the food packaging world. And it’s with this in mind that we developed RPCF – a daylight and UV fluorescent plastic colorant for food contact applications, that can meet FDA food contact regulations.

RPCF fluorescent colorants for plastics can be blended to achieve intermediate fluorescent colors. They’re versatile and safe for use across plastics in single and repeated use applications, where contact with all food types takes place. It’s important to ensure complete development of the fluorescent color pigments of plastics by completely melting and evenly distributed throughout the plastic system.
Developed to meet the composition requirements of resolution, AP89(1) and monomers are included in the EU list of authorized substances of regulation (EU) No 10/201.

In compliance with Food and Drug Administration status (FDA): up to 1% in HDPE, PP for single and repeated use applications in contact with all foods under conditions of use E-G defined in 21 CFR 176.170(c): room temperature filled and stored, refrigerated storage and frozen storage (no thermal treatment in the container).
